Intellectual Property Rights in Cyberspace

Intellectual property is one of the most upcoming field in recent times. IP in cyberspace has seen a great deal of development in the last few years. This program will focus on IP rights and related IP related topics like trademarks, copyright, IP infringement in cyberspace and the deal with the jurisdictional issues of cyber laws in the IP domain.

The highlights of this course will be the knowledge that will be given with respect to the ambit of IP in cyberspace, definition of “computer” under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the legal framework dealing with online piracy and framing.
